Doc Severinsen - Stereo and all that jazz Audio Fidelity AFSC 6196

Though I have not seen a copy of this album, it looks like a sloppy re-issue of Dauntless material originally released as Percussive jazz, under Peter Appleyard's name, and Percussive jazz vol.2 (arranged by Sid Cooper).

5 title appear to be from Dauntless DFM 3002 Percussive jazz, and the other 6 from Dauntless DFS 7007.

The personnel, identical in Bruyninckx and Lord, switches Mel Davis and Ray Starling from trumpet to trombone, gives Harold Weed and Buddy Weed as if they were two people (Feather's usually reliable Enyclopedia has an entry headed Harold "Buddy" Weed). The recording date given as 1968 is perhaps the release date of the re-issue, being at least 5 years after Costa's death.
